Maxim Claeys

Est. MMXXIV “Tools that feel quiet & useful” Anno 2026
Front Page — Developer Profile

Full‑stack developer, and maker.

Building things for the web that feel quiet and useful — from coursework to commissioned builds, currently studying at Artevelde in Ghent.

What began as plain curiosity about how websites actually work has turned into the puzzle I keep coming back to. I work across the stack with React, Next.js and TypeScript on the front, and Node and Laravel behind it.

On mobile I build with React Native. The throughline is the same everywhere: tools that are calm to use and honest about what they do. This edition collects the work, the stack, and the way I get there.

Profile — A Developer in Training

A student finding his craft.

What started as plain curiosity about how websites actually work has grown into the puzzle Maxim keeps coming back to: building functional, user‑friendly web applications that people can trust.

He works across the stack — React, Next.js, Node.js and Laravel on the web, React Native on mobile — while studying at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences in Ghent.

He recently completed his graduation internship at Antenna, where coursework turned into real work for real clients. The throughline, he says, is always the same: tools that are calm to use and honest about what they do.
